This shader I made for some VR contract work i did last fall/winter. In the game you have a gravity gun and to make sense of you being able to clip thru geometry and move massive objects we decided to make the objects "phase" while being controlled by the gun. My favorite part of this is the rim effect whenever you intersect with other geometry which uses the depth buffer.
This shader was also made for the same project. These gifs show off some variations with the settings like texture blending, alpha limits and pulse and scroll speeds.
